The closuer of Makerere University didn’t stop the organizers of the pageant from putting up a stunning show, this was at International University of East Africa auditorium, the weekend was filed with applauds from the various university students as they were supporting and cheering their representatives in the Miss University 2016/2017./
With over 13 universities represented all over the country the girls show cased skills in fashion, cat walk, and various talents. Beating 12 other girls Atuhaire Mackline from Kyambogo University pursuing a bachelor’s degree of science in accounting, with Sheila Tekitendwa from YMCA as the first runner up and Alice Bbalo Namutebi from IUEA as the second runner up and the winner took home a fully paid bursary for a full year courtesy of miss university organizers
