Express FC coach Wasswa Bbosa’s job is on the line.
With a winless run of five matches that includes two losses to arch rivals SC Villa and KCCA FC, sharing the spoils with a struggling Police FC and other two draws is what has forced the Red Eagles Chairperson Hon. Nakiwala Kiyingi to put Wasswa Bbosa under a firing notice.
“The two (Bbosa and Nakiwala) had a private meeting in which this was reached but as a person who has served the club so long with passion, they didn’t want it in the press,” sources told Kawowo.
The Wankulukuku based club currently stands in 7th place on the league table with just 14 points from eleven games and are set to host Uganda Revenue Authority FC today evening.
Bbosa has been part of the club since the 2011/2012 season when they last won the league under the charges of Omulangila Sam Ssimbwa (current Soana head coach).
He guided the club to a third place finish last season with just four points behind the champions KCCA FC (57points) before being relegated to the position of assistant coach due to a shortfall in his qualifications after the appointment of Alex Gitta.
Gitta was then sacked due technical bench misunderstandings and once again Bbosa took over but has since failed to win a single game.
