Local comedienne Anne Kansiime has been nominated in UK-based awards celebrating black women dubbed Black African Women Rock (BAWR) Awards.
Anne Kansiime is nominated for the Young Woman Achiever and Female Artist of the year.
The awards which are now in their third edition are slated for Saturday, 3rd December 2016 at the Double Tree Hotel, Woking, Surrey, United Kingdom.
Founded by Lindani Moyo in 2013, the Black African Women Rock platform seeks to encourage, educate, motivate and inspire all women who have black African roots, regardless of where they were born or live, to pursue their dreams.
