4. Social Media becomes your update outlet.
While the narcissistic world talks about themselves online, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram record vast and sufficient records of information about your relationship. What it’s up to and where it’s headed. There’s a steady stream of selfies of yourselves in restaurants, cafes and all over town with the most random things.
5. You assume your boyfriend/girlfriend is automatically invited to social gatherings with your friends.
A small hint – the host has to say “*insert gf/bf name here* is welcome to join us too” to validate you tagging them along with you.
6. Holding hands
ALL. THE. TIME!! It’s cute how otters hold hands when they fall asleep so they don’t drift apart. But guess what! You’re not an otter.
7. You’re an expert at being a last-minute-ditcher.
You are ready to give up on plans you’ve already made with friends for the sake of your bae. You might think you sound really adorable when you can only meet up for a few minutes because you have to spend the rest of the day with him or her, but it’s actually really unhealthy.
8. You whisper sweet nothings into one another’s ears…in public!
In the company of friends it’s just rude.
9. You’re constantly trying romantic movie dialogues on one another.
Cute, but not in the company of others. If you do practice them in public, why not have the cameras rolling? The above points virtually sum up how much of a chick-flick your lives already are.
