So, you met someone recently, and he’s got you all gooey in the stomach and everywhere else. You can’t stop thinking about him, and all the wonderful, wine-tinted, rose petal decorated things that the future has in store for the two of you. He’s everything you’ve ever wanted, and now you have him! You can’t believe it! This seems too good to be true, and so, you subconsciously decide that you must sabotage it. And you begin that process by being too available, and completely losing control over all emotion whether you’re around him or not. That, ladies, is step one in your guide to losing a guy…
1. Be available… ALL THE TIME
Every time he asks you what your plans are for later in the evening, or the week, always, always say, “Nothing.” You must be available at all times, and make no effort to conceal the fact that all you have been doing since you met this guy, is sitting and waiting for him. In case you happened to have made plans, cancel them for him. Even if he just wants to talk on the phone for fifteen minutes… cancel all other plans, and let him know that you did so.
2. Ask the cardinal question right away: “WHERE IS THIS GOING?”
Of course you need to know where this is headed. So what if it’s just been a week since you met him, and you don’t even know his sibling’s name yet? That shit doesn’t matter. What matters is whether he has decided that he wants to marry you or not.
3. Put him in his place
Tell him how bad that shirt looks on him, or how he is wearing too much cologne, or how you don’t like his taste in music at all. It’s all about being honest and upfront, and it is best to just lay out all the things you can’t stand about him. Make sure you tell him emphatically so that he never forgets.
4. Be busy… ALL THE TIME
Yes, some of us have lives, and we can’t be available all the time. But, we don’t figure out middle ground here. We go for the opposite… never being free. You’ve got work, friends, family, and your beauty sleep to take care of. There’s only 24 hours in a day. Who has the time for a guy they like, and could potentially marry one day? That shit is not worth it.
5. Tell him about all your exes… IN DETAIL
You need to be honest about your past. Especially the part where you had the most amazing sex of your life, with that guy who was unusually well-endowed, the biggest you’ve been with.
6. Put a stop to boys’ nights
He has a girl in his life now. He can’t be living the “bachelor’s life” anymore. Anyway, boys get together and do lame things, and basically just waste time and get fat from all the beer that they drink. You can’t have that.
7. Don’t have sex with him!
Because if a guy doesn’t stick around with someone who refuses to sleep with them, then he is not interested. Love and sex don’t go together. Sex is just something physical, and never an expression of desire, and wanting, longing, and love. If you’re looking for love, you’ve got to be sure that you will have it whether or not you consummate.
