Think you know everything there is to know about sex? Think again.
OKCupid published a series of infographics, showing the quirkiest (and craziest) sex trends among their large user base.
Here are seven of the most insane ones as compiled by YourTango:
Old men love rough sex: According to the finding, bachelors begin to prefer rough sex to the regular one, as they age. Fifty percent of men aged 60 like it rough, compared to just 10 percent of men aged 25. For women, it’s the other way around.
The higher your school tuition, the higher your sex drive:Private school and Ivy League students said they wanted to have sex five to six times a week, compared to four to five times a week for public school students.
Vegetarians enjoy giving oral sex: A massive 9:1 male vegetarians enjoy giving oral sex, compared to 7:1 non-vegetarian males. For women, numbers were about a third of that, but they still conformed to the trend. Guess this is one good reason to stop eating meat, right?
Twitter users masturbate more frequently: People who tweet every day have a 2:1 chance of self-pleasuring themselves on any given day. On the one hand, Twitter has a reputation for being the social media solution to stroking yourself. On the other hand, since serial Twitter users feel comfortable sharing about themselves everyday, they’re also more likely to admit to masturbating.
Serial Twitter users have shorter relationships: According to the infographics, people who tweet frequently are either fickle, more into hooking up or they’re just not relationship material. The older you get, and the more you tweet, the less likely you will settle down.
You can gauge people’s preference for rough sex based on their profile essay: Women who use the words ‘England,’ ‘church,’ ‘gardening,’ and ‘dining’ are less likely to report enjoying rough sex, while women who used the words ‘piercings,’ ‘obsessed,’ ‘grammar,’ and ‘undergrad’ said they preferred it. Men who use the words ‘challenges,’ ‘faithful,’ and ‘sincere’ like it gentle, while those who used the words ‘punk,’ ‘ridiculous,’ and ‘cynical’ like it rough. Hmm!
Women who don’t enjoy exercise have more trouble reaching orgasm: In general, women who don’t enjoy working out experience twice the amount of trouble achieving orgasm than women who do like exercise. The good news is, this correlation decreases between ages 18 and 50. Beyond that age, achieving orgasm only becomes more difficult if you prefer a sedentary lifestyle.
