1. Tell them 5 things you love about them
We all love to be complimented every once in a while, don’t we? But here is the thing; rather than dishing out the usual cliches, ‘you look good’, ‘you look nice’, try something special and unique instead. That said, let your partner know five things you like about them, probably how cute they smile or how much they snore- you decide. Using handwritten compliments on separate piece of paper, place them in areas they visit in and around your house regularly, say, fridge, kitchen, toilet, wardrobe, etc, etc.
2. Preparing a special dinner.
The dangerous thing about routine in anything is that it leads to lack of excitement at a point. To bring back that excitement and multiply that happiness in your marriage, why not try making a special dinner for your hubby or wife. A well arranged setting, good music, a picnic-like dinning, and other creative effects are simply what you need to realise a specially created happy dinner.
3. Help them with their normal duties.
Now here is the difficult part. Seeing we all could be caught up with the daily demands of work, family and domestic chores, there isn’t any way our partner won’t exude happiness when we help them take care of their usual house duties once in a while. The prominence of social media and chat applications means communication via sms, even at low/free costs, is rapidly nosediving. However, you can still utilise that medium to crack a smile on your partner especially when they are at work. Letting them know you are thinking of them or the thought of them just keeps you going would happily brighten their day. Except the partner is incapable of smiling, or has a disorder being happy, this should work the magic.
