Relationships are meant for matured minds, not just people who have attained physical maturity but people who are emotionally mature, in the sense that they could handle anything that comes their way without going nuts.
Having said that, if your partner hurts you in any way and you can’t seem to let that go or forgive that person, it’s best you walk out of the relationship, staying in a relationship that isn’t healthy for you isn’t the best.
Instead of feeling choked or stuck with a person and exhibiting childish and insecure behaviours, just walk away, peacefully, but if something was really worth it, you’d fight for it.
Here are some immature things people do that spell doom for their relationship:
1. SILENT TREATMENT
Maybe you both had a big fight, you caught him or her cheating or you disagreed on something, definitely emotions would run high, egos would be bruised in the course of the fight, but that isn’t enough reason to go quiet on your partner. This is a very immature thing to do, women are fond of this, especially when they know the man cannot stay a day without speaking to them.
Stop being immature, after your quarrel, say sorry to each other, even if the person was the first to wrong you, if you value your relationship more than your ego, you’d say sorry. Talk things over, tell your partner about the things you don’t like, make it very clear that if you they aren’t ready to change, you’d walk away. You had a mouth for a reason, talk things out.
2. THREATENING TO BREAK UP WITH THE PERSON
Another childish act, you know very well that this girl or guy adores you more than anything in the world, what do you do? You let your ego get the better part of you and before you know it, you start feeling like they can never find love in the arms of another. That’s a very shallow mentality, if you’re fond of threatening your partner that you want to call it quits, get ready, one day they may just oblige you.
3. STALKING THEM ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Going through their phone is crazy enough, but stalking them on social media? Geez, get a doctor!
You follow him on facebook, if he drops a nice comment on another girl’s pix you get jealous, please repent, this one isn’t love, it’s obsession and it’s not only childish, it’s crazy.
If you don’t trust a person, walk away. Very simple. Thank me later.
