On Friday evening, 24-year-old Amuhra Jacklyn was crowned Miss Tourism Bunyoro at a ceremony held at Victory Bijja hotel in Masindi district.
She beat other contestants in various sessions that included talent showcase, and self expression among others to be crowned as tourism ambassador for Bunyoro region.
Birungi Esther, 19, and Bamwine Catherine, 19, were first and second runner up respectively.
She will now compete for the coveted Miss Tourrism Uganda crown as she faces off with other regional winners in a ceremony that will be held on October 21 at Kampala Serena Hotel. This year’s ultimate winner will drive home in a BMW mini copper courtesy of Radiant Cosmetics.
