This year’s sound will be unparalleled in the region, with support from the Nairobi underground who are bringing not one, but two sound systems: the Umojah rig, the first dedicated reggae/dub-style sound system built in Kenya, and East Africa’s first Funktion-One soundsystem coming to Uganda for the first time.

The 2016 edition saw over 200 local and international artists take to the stage in front of 3000 festival-goers, and attracted a global audience thanks to its forward thinking curation of African music.
