The search for the next Miss Tourism Uganda beauty queen headed to Teso land on Saturday in a ceremony held at Strikers conference in Soroti.
The ceremony attracted the most beautiful girls in the land as they battled for the Miss Tourism Teso crown. The competing beauty queens were tested in different disciplines including their knowledge on tourism before the winner was announced.
At the end of the night, it was 20-year-old Amuge Gertrude Olungura from Soroti district who emerged winner with Aduto Sharon and Anyu Esther coming in second and third place respectively.
They will now represent Teso region at the forthcoming Miss Tourism Uganda grand finale that will be held at Kampala Serena hotel.
