Speaking at the final handover ceremony Joseph Bogera, GM GOtv Uganda said, “This has been an exciting campaign. We have managed to achieve our objective – which was to change and impact lives greatly, by appreciating new and existing GOtv subscribes with schools fees, a major obligation for any parent to meet. We are glad that our relationship with our subscribers has extended to not just entertaining them through our channels but also enhancing their lives.”

In the final draw a bonus of 20 subscribers won themselves school fees or scholastic material making the top winners 110 for school fees and 110 for scholastic material. The campaign was a nationwide campaign that saw over 20 upcountry winners also win in the campaign.

One of the school fees beneficiaries Angella Katwesiime provided her testimony and said “my daughter died a few years ago and I attained custody of my granddaughter Cynthia Sennete. I made a pledge that I would ensure I make her mother proud by maintaining the lifestyle her mother would have wanted for her child. GOtv has helped me greatly through this school fees promotion to meet my obligation as a guardian and I can’t thank them enough.”

Bogera concluded by saying, “Thank you to everyone who has participated and believed in this campaign. We believe we have achieved a greater connection with our esteemed subscribers. We urge customers to continue being loyal to GOtv and await new exciting developments coming from the brand.”
