The Uganda Premier League (UPL) continues tomorrow with a battle of the titans at the Ssaza grounds in Mityana where Sports Club Villa will be hosting the defending champions Kampala Capital City Authority.
Table leaders SC Villa have had an immaculate performance at their home ground in Mityana where they have won all their four league games even when their last home win was a bedroom decision where they were given three points and three goals at the expense of Express F.C in a game that ended prematurely.
The defending champions, KCCA will come into the game at the back of winning against co-home rivals Bright Stars who they beat 1-0 thanks to the efforts of Cranes’ star Brian Umony.
George ‘Best’ Nsimbe’s side have not had their best start of the season despite losing only one game of their first five fixtures. They have won two and drawn two and will be looking forward for to get their first consecutive set of wins. Nsimbe will rely on the spectacular form of Brian Majwega and Brian Umony who have had great performances in their first two games of the season.
On the other hand, Sam Simbwa will be looking to lead striker Karim Ndugwa and on-form ex-KCCA star Steven Bengo to help him secure at least a point. Simbwa is yet to lose a game since being named the Villa coach. He has won two and was held to a goalless draw by Jinja based side Bul F.C last week.
Villa are top of the table with 13points from six games while KCCA are 10th with 8points from five games.
