One of a woman’s greatest needs is to feel protected. Likewise, one of your man’s greatest needs is to feel secure. Give him that security with things that will help him feel prepared in dire circumstances like a first aid kit or an emergency generator.
6. His own space
Carve out a place in the house, garage or backyard for your husband that can be all his. He wants space to work, explore his hobbies or have a moment to himself.
7. Food
Best of all is a home-cooked meal, but he’d also love food he can take with him and prepare without any effort.
8. To learn something
Your husband would go nuts to learn a new skill, especially one that he’s been wanting to learn for a while (like how to fly fish or play guitar).
9. A date
He’d be thrilled if you planned a special night out, just for the two of you. Pull out all the stops to woo your man all over again. For example, serve him a candlelit dinner and give him a few kisses.
10. To listen to his music
He wants to play DJ for once (even if you really can’t stand to listen to that noise).
11. Stuff for his hobbies
Even if you don’t participate in his hobbies, you can show you care about them by giving him equipment or tools to do them. Not only will he be appreciative of your thoughtfulness, but he’ll be stoked to get more gear to do his favorite things.
