The G-spot is that much-debated area in our bodies that not many are sure exists. More often than not we have no idea what’s going on down there. This sexy zone that’s also known as the sacred spot is capable of making our sex lives an instant hit and these facts will help you get all the much-deserved pleasures. Here are 12 crazy facts about the G-spot you need to know.

1. Wondering why we call it the G-spot? It was named that after the German gynaecologist, Ernst Grafenberg, who was the first person to discover it, albeit with great difficulty.

2. The G-spot is also called the sacred spot in tantric sex as it’s believed to be the woman’s most emotional and sexual centre.

3. The G-spot isn’t really a spot. It’s actually that area in the vagina that is most sensitive to touch and can bring you to orgasm. Research has established that the area on the front wall of the vagina about 2 inches inside which expands with stimulation is the G-spot.

4. To know where exactly your G-spot is you’ll have to experiment a tad bit and allow yourself to be touched down there.

5. When turned on, the G-spot increases in size but if you are not in the mood it may only be as big as a pea and can be totally missed.

6. There’s another theory which states that the G-spot resembles the male prostrate.

7. It is also believed that women ejaculate when their G-spot is aroused through the skene’s glands.

8. It feels somewhat like a walnut.

9. Most women (84 per cent to be specific) think that the vagina does have a highly sensitive spot.

10. Surprisingly, it evokes totally different reactions from different people varying from an orgasm to the need to pee.

11. Massaging the G-spot can give you multiple orgasms and this can also be done with clitorial stimulation. Fascinating, right?

12. The sad part is not all women feel it. But don’t get discouraged, there are other ways of reaching the Big O!
