Uganda’s first horror movie titled “Bunjako”, will premiere on 17th June at Theatre La’Bonita.
“Bujanko” follows a story of University Students in the same class with differences in life that plan to go for a campfire trip together with their lecturer. On their way to the camp fire they come across “Bunjako”, a haunted forest with a killing evil spirit and human-like carnivores which feed on animal and human flesh, which they have to go through to make it to their destination.
The cast includes Diana Nabatanzi playing the lead role of Jane, Atukunda Joseph playing the police role of Musinguzi who is Jane’s father, Sharon Atuhaire acting as Rhona Musinguzi’s police colleague, Kimuli Brandon an Mc acting as Rogers, Julius Mosh acting as Brian and a Biliv TV presenter Jolly D Mukasa acting as Hertz.
Others are; Niwagaba Aaron acting as Joel Jane’s boyfriend, Laila Ismail acting as Sharma the Indian girl in the story, Daniel Lowly as Derrick, Tania Shakirah Kankindi as Julie, Monicah Birwinyo (Momo Jcobs) as Joy, Niwamaseko Derek as Jimmy and many more.
For film enthusiasts and lovers of horror movies in Uganda, entrance fee is Shs 20,000 for Bronze tickets, Shs 50,000 Silver and 2,000,000 Gold (for a VVIP table of 10).
