In 1986, 26th January, for those who live under an ocean, NRA led by President Museveni, captured power from the hands of the tyrannical past regimes. History was written on the rocks. NRM has been in power since then. It is 29years now. We ran out of fingers counting. However, hope is not lost because Version 86 Project, a television programme, is here to shed light on the plight of the people that were born in the post 1986 era. How cool is that? To borrow the dialect these hip and classy people use, “It is kawa!”
The highly-awaited show is set to premiere on Channel 44. It is set to celebrate the life these people are living, their achievements, their highs and lows, their journey, et al. The show will be hosted by renowned model Mugume Canary who goes by the monikers of Cny Canary on his Social Media platforms. An enthusiastic lad. And a lad who has achieved a lot at his age. For those folks that are weary and tired of the nonsensical dirty politics, at least, Version 86 Project approaches a light side of it. Good concept!
