UK based Ugandan singer Coco Ug, formerly known as Samo Kagaati, seems ready to take over the local airwaves this year.
Coco Ug, who has in the past worked with top Ugandan musicians including Gravity Omutujju and Ziza Bafana, has now teamed up with songbird Irene Ntale.
The two singers have collaborated on a single dubbed “Yona Gyemba”, which was released early last week.
“Yona Gyemba” is a love song on which the singers voice out lovers’ longing for each other. Laid on a mellow beat, it is a special dedication to lovers in a long distance relationship.
The song was produced by Rinex at Power Records.
