Uganda Cranes players are all safe – FUFA speaks out on accident

Unfortunate news reaching our desks indicates that the Uganda Cranes team has been involved in a motor accident at Kamokoli – Jami near Mbale Town.

Witnesses from the scene say that the Cranes’ bus collided with a Taxi Van as result of a punctured front tyre on the national team’s Bus.

According to a statement released by the federation, all the Uganda Cranes players and officials are safe with however four people given first Aid treatment; these include Ahmed Hussein (FUFA Communications head), players – Kezironi Kizito, Denis Okot Oola and Hassan Wasswa Dazo.

The statement further states that arrangements have been made to secure another transport means and the Uganda Cranes contingent is already on their way back to Kampala.
