Uganda vs Kenya

By Robert Kayindi James

Uganda Cranes and the Harambe Stars of Kenya fired blanks in an international friendly match played on Tuesday evening at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

The two sides were both goal shy in the opening half of the game without clear cut scoring opportunities created while second half efforts were also fruitless.

For the fans in the stadium, it was a replay of the 8th October, 2011 scenes when Kenya held Uganda to a goalless draw at the same venue to deny them an opportunity to reach the 2012 AFCON finals.

Now the fans who are warming up for the eagerly awaited duel against Comoros will be hoping to see a better Cranes in offense come Sunday, September 4th at Namboole.
