Uganda Cranes and top tier side Bright Stars are set for a trial match today at the heart of Kampala at Nakivubo War Memorial Stadium. This will be the second test match for the Cranes who are currently undergoing non-residential training in preparation for the forthcoming 2017 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Gabon.

The Cranes eased passed The Saints Football Club in their first game with Onduparaka FC striker Mohammad Jagason Shaban, KCCA’s Geoffrey Sserunkuma and Tonny Mawejje hitting the target in a 3-1 win for the national side.

On the other hand, Kawempe based side Bright Stars will be preparing for their next home tie against Uganda Revenue Authority FC in the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL).

Meanwhile, Coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic is expected to name his provisional squad for the 2017 AFCON on Wednesday at FUFA house in Mengo, Kampala during the weekly press conference.
