Former NTV Uganda TV presenter, Justine Nameere, is in trouble for failing to clear a one million shillings debt. The former Life Stories presenter could end up in Luzira prisons soon.
Justine was arrested near Makerere guest house where she was in hiding after failing to clear CM money lenders whom she had given cheques that bounced.
Justine is said to have disappeared after she got the money. A case was openned against her following her failure to pay and her disappearance.
When she resurfaced, the TV presenter issued some cheques which bounced which she signed when the money lenders caught up with her when she was onset at Minibuzz. She then resigned from her TV job and went into hidding again until they caught up with her.
The TV star was arrested over the weekend for failure to pay one million and later released on bond after a good summaritan managed to pay 250,000shs as a sign of her willingness to pay.
We have also been told that apart from these small debts, Nameere is battling another case of 33 million at Mengo court where she is accused of failing to pay a filming company that did a TV show for her. Court will determine on November 14th whether she goes to Luzira or not.
