After a 50 day long journey through 8 countries, the Tusker Twende Kazi reality show finally came to an end on Sunday(April, 13th). The show aired every Sunday on Uganda’s NTV and Kenya’s Citizen TV mapping the entire journey of the Tusker bottle to London, its final destination. The participants in the reality show were mainly celebrities across East Africa in the Arts and Entertainment industry. Uganda representatives included; Radio & Weasel, Navio, Seanice Kacungira, Maurice Kirya, Flavia and Bebe Cool.
Grouped in teams of two to make 25 groups, each team was faced with its own challenges. Some of the tasks the various teams had to overcome included, eating bizarre foods, wrestling professionals, milking camels and many more. Despite the strenuous tasks, the challenge was eventually successfully completed.
The crowning event was held at O2 Arena, London where the bottle was finally delivered to Humphrey Kayange. Twende kazi was all about promoting togetherness.
