Star-Times unveiled as KCCA’s new shirt sponsor

Uganda Premier League (UPL) defending champions Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Football Club have unveiled Star-Times pay TV as their shirt sponsor in a three year deal worth Ushs 750million. Star-Times TV will advertise on the KCCA FC shirt jerseys and also around the club’s home at the Philip Omondi stadium in Lugogo.

The deal was announced yesterday morning at the KCCA headquarters, City Hall in Kampala during a press conference embraced by the organization’s Executive Director Jennifer Musisi in which she expressed her gratitude about the partnership between the two bodies.

“We thank Star Times to have come on board to co-brand with a powerful institution such as KCCA, making it two strong brands. We encourage and are ready to welcome other partners on board to work with us for up lifting the standards of our club, this is just the start,” the Executive Director said.

At the press conference, Star-Times TV were represented by their Marketing Manager Aldrine Nsubuga who also hailed the partnership of the organizations.

“We are gleeful to have collaborated with the most organized and biggest footballing brand in the Uganda Premier League which is KCCA FC. Star Times is a global brand in over 24 countries across Africa, Asia and Europe,” Aldrine remarked.
