When he released his first ever songs in his music career, UK based Ugandan singer, lyricist and music producer Japa Dollar was perceived by many as a music hustler, a one time hit wonder and a joker but over the years he has lived to prove his worthiness if Ugandan musicians in the diaspora are to be talked about. He promises to still prove haters and doubters wrong as he is heading to the top. This is because he has simply lived up to a dream of any normal musician, hustling musically and battling with lyrics in his studios to give us his best every time he releases a song.

Japa Dollar has now released a real love story lined song dubbed 100% , and the way in which carries itself and rattles to the last beat it will leave you pale and giddy and your tongue blue.

The recently released single was premiered at Club Venom, official video played on the local TV station NBS TV and its generally receiving positive feedback from the public. The video of this song is a class apart with the Afro cultural scenes, creativity and the grooving strokes. And to talk about the lyrics, though they sound flattery, it’s what ladies want to hear and feel, they want 100% from the lover and it’s what Japa Dollar talks about in the song. He even promises that they will splash dollars as they tour the whole Globe.

Written and produced in London, 100% song is one of those pieces of art, a typical Afro R N B song played in a steady key. However, much of the credit should be directed to the beat used on the track. The beat somewhat swallows the voices in the song. And as promised, it is a highly decent song that won’t ruin, but rather excite crowds at your party when the deejay plays it.
