Sheebah Karungi has been detained at CPS for allegedly refusing to perform at the grand opening of Zodiac bar, formally Steak Out.
News reaching us indicates that Sheebah was booked alongside the likes of A Pass and legendary Maddox Sematimba to thrill revelers at Zodiac on its grand opening for 900k and was even given 250k as down payment.
However, the singer has adamantly denied knowledge of the deal and went ahead to post on her Facebook page that she is not aware of any agreement between her and Zodiac and therefore should not be on their posters because she is not going to perform.
According to Dean Shero, one of the marketeers at the hangout, Sheebah should have informed them early that she is not going to be part of the event instead of tarnishing their brand by calling them con-men.
“250K is little and we can decide to let it go but all we want from her is to apologise publicly that what she did was wrong or else she will have to cough lots of money for tarnishing our brand. We have the receipts and the recordings of her when we were negotiating the deal,” said Dean.
Sheebah has continued to deny knowledge of the agreement even when her middle man only identified as Ranks has been in police custody since Saturday evening.
Meanwhile, its believed that Sheebah forewent the Zodiac gig for a more juicy deal in Egypt where the diva is meant to be performing on the same day.
