Sports Club Villa has sacked their Spanish head coach, Antonio Flores following a 2-1 loss to Soana FC at Kavumba Recreational Stadium in the Azam Uganda Premiere League (AUPL).

Information from the Jogoos camp indicates that he has been relieved of his duties due to poor results that have seen his side lose 3 games, drawn two and won only two out of the eight matches under his charges.

On top of that Villa lost three finals namely; FUFA Super Cup against Vipers, Idi Cup against Maroons and the Independence Cup against KCCA FC.

Reports further state that Club President Eng. Ben Missaga has paid off 320million shillings to Flores in honor of the terminated contract.

The Blues however state that their relationship with Flores remains close as he will help market their players on the out side world as an agent.

He leaves Villa in 13th place on the 16 team log with just eight points.

Villa’s next game is against arch rivals Express FC in the league this week
