Uganda’s representatives at the 2016 CAF Confederations Cup, Sports Club Villa edged Moroccan side FUS Rabat by 1-0 at Nelson Mandela National Stadium.
Striker Umar Kasumba scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the second half (56th minute).
The two sides were meeting for the return leg following the Jogoos’ 7-0 thumping during the first leg in Morocco about a fortnight ago.
Despite the victory, Villa just played for pride having lost 7-1 on aggregate over the two legs which means that’s the end of their road in this year’s campaign as Rabat advance to the next stage of the competition.
