Songbird Rema Namakula has celebrated fellow women in a special way.

The singer has released a special Women’s Day song dubbed “Banyabo” in which she pays tribute to her late mother, Hamidah Nabbosa.

While premiering the song online, she noted that the song is also dedicated to all the strong-willed women who have beaten the odds to succeed in life.

She said, “Special Dedication to you fellow Ladies on this special day. This song goes out to the ladies that have hustled up and down for their families well being.  Women that play the role of daddy and mommy. Women that are not ashamed of doing any job to earn a living for their children.”

“This is my mother’s story. She took care of us single-handedly. Tested and tried but she never gave up till the day she had her last breath. RIP mama Hamidah Nabbosa . I celebrate you today.” She added.
