Couple of weeks ago we broke news about how Ugandan rapper O.P.U had started a project code named Project R.I.C with the aim of using his musical influence to promote the reading culture in schools.
Well it seems the rappers project has reached a mile stone after reaching the ten week trial process that had been imposed on his project by City Authorities from the education department of Kampala City Council Authority.
To crown this milestone the rapper and his team held a full day event at his former primary school East Kololo Primary School where he has been test driving the concept. The event was well attended by the pupils and parents and had KCCA Education officer Florence Kyoshabire as the chief guest.
It was crowned with a performance from the rapper himself and the members of the club also got to show off the skills they have got from the project. The event was also supported by BIC Uganda.
To make this possible the rapper with his Record Label R.O.W Records partnered with Ewa-Africa.
