Reliable information on our desks is that the ban that has lasted almost a decade that barred Radio and Weasel from entering the Queens’ land has been lifted and as we speak, the singers are in preparation to tag along Uganda’s leading drama group, the Ebonies, for their 2014 international tour dubbed ‘Entunuusi’.
Thanks to Katende Ssempebwa and Company Advocates that have triumphed in the struggle to bring back the freedom of these boys’ movements abroad especially in Europe. This was confirmed by the Ebonies who posted on their face book timeline; “Through their lawyers, Katende Ssempebwa And Company Advocates, Radio And Weasel Have Today Successfully Fought Off A 10 Year Ban That Had Been Impossed On Them. They Are Now Free To Enter The United Kingdom Anytime They Wish.”
As we all know, this has been Jeff Kiwa’s strongest point against the young talented boys as he bragged that they were banned from going to Europe and he couldn’t help them however much he had all the aptitude. I guess it has been thrown right in his face that he is replaceable.
Radio and Weasel will be performing with the ebonies in London and Dubai on the 23rd and 24th of August. They will be with Bobi Wine, David Lutalo, Catherine Kusaasira and the international gospel dancers and we expect PM of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiiga to collect more “Etoffali”.
