Local promoter Suudiman has finally broken his silence on the failed Wizkid concert. This after his name was associated with the concert.
The promoter has denied playing any role in the concert, insisting that his detractors are trying to tarnish his reputation.
“For the past two months, two uncouth individuals have been going around town trying to malign my name by associating me with the Wizkid failed concert,” he said. “But let me make this categorically clear to my fans, business partners and friends, I was not part or nor did I play any role in that failed Wizkid concert.”
He further threatened to reveal the “real reason” why the show did not happen.
“Publicly apologize to me or I will tell the world the real reason why Wizkid didn’t show up,” he threatened.
Meanwhile, the Wizkid concert which was slated for December last year was cancelled on the last minute after the Nigerian star reportedly missed his flight. The “Lagos to Kampala” singer later apologised to his fans in Uganda and promised to make it up to them in the following year.
