President Yoweri Museveni recently launched the Pearl of Africa Hotel, which is now the biggest hotel in Uganda.
In his remarks, the President noted that the facility will reinforce the tourism sector as he lauded the Aya brothers for their contribution to Uganda’s economic growth.
The 5-star hotel was officially launched at a gala dinner which was attended by several dignitaries including ministers, city businessmen among others.
The 20-storey luxury hotel which is managed by South Africa’s Sovereign Hotels stands tall on Nakasero Hill and boasts of 253 rooms and 42 suites.
