Irene Ntale got a rare interview with BBC UK in London last evening where she discussed her life and music among other things. She talked about her early church days as well as her current musical achievements.
The ‘Gyobera’ star who was excited to travel to Britain (Link) will performance at the 2BeLoved Gala that is scheduled to take place tonight at the Tara Hotel in London hosted by our very own comedian Anne Kansiime.
The ‘Kubuzinze’ singer started off by praising her mentors who have made her what she is today. She thanked the team at Swagnz Ave recording house for the support and confidence in her. “I have a team, I’m signed to Swangz Avenue, there are two gentlemen one is called Julius Kyazze and the other Benon Mugumbya. These two found me when I was in the background and they brought me up. They are my mentors and they made me what I am today,” She said.
Irene who started playing guitar at a tender age of 16 years and perfected her skills at a local church, was also asked to talk about love and marriage since the show she will be performing at is about love and relationships. She revealed that she grew up in a God fearing Christian family where marriage was upheld. She pointed out the fact that she believes in marriage.
Irene then performed for the viewers and the interview came to an end. She did a song called “Politics.”
