Musician David Lutalo braved the “January brokenness” to hold the first album launch of the year. Banking on his legion of loyal fans, the “Akantu” singer was left wallowing in delight after hordes of fans turned up for his concert.
David Lutalo proved to the world that he is now one of the most loved musicians in the country following a sold out show at Hotel Africana on Friday evening as he launched his Akantu album.
The concert attracted several celebrities who came to show solidarity for the singer. Among these were Uganda’s top artistes who performed on the evening including Bebe cool, Jose Chameleone, Bobi wine, Pallaso, Ziza Bafana, Sheebah, Irene Ntale, Nince Henry among others.
“I have never seen so many celebrities at the same show. This is one of the most attended shows ever held at Hotel Africana,” a stunned fan remarked after the concert.
Also in attendance were David Lutalo’s parents that had traveled all the way from Luweero to share in their son’s glory.
