Ugandan musician Yung Mulo Badman Gadget was on Sunday last week quizzed by Police for smoking weed.
The Tebakusobola singer was found back stage by the police smoking the evening away at Uganda’s biggest music concert of the year at Nakivubo.
The musician who at first pulled out a 10,000shs note to try and bribe the police was very scared of ending up in prison. He begged the officers to forgive him for the wrongful act and promised never to do it again.
Eye witnesses say that he gave the silliest excuse anyone had ever heard. “I am taking this week so that I can stage an energetic performance,” he was heard telling the officers.
The officer released him after a stern warning that he would never smoke the green leaves again more so in a public place.
