Spain international and Barcelona captain, Andres Iniesta has agreed to come and visit Uganda together with his family.

The midfield maestro has been persuaded by a team of Ugandan tourism/sports enthusiasts who are on a trip to Barcelona to promote Uganda, lobby for business and try to persuade soccer stars like Lionel Messi and Neymar to come and have a feel of the Pearl of Africa. The team includes: Great Safaris’ Amos Wekesa, Daily Monitor’s Mark Namanya and Kawowo Sports, Joseph Owino.

This is good news and it is bound to uplift, boost and put Uganda on the proverbial map. Andres Iniesta’s news of visiting Uganda came through Joseph Owino who took a walk around La Masia, Barcelona’s facility and training ground, where he took a picture with Andres Iniesta himself.
