Musicians Pallaso and Sheebah refused to perform after they were paid for a show recently. Little did they know that revelers were not going to let them go easily. The “Go down low” singers who had been paid to do a show at Bax bar in Jinja last Saturday arrived late for the show and even angered fans further by taking their seats and refusing to sing.
Revelers got rowdy when Pallaso stood and said; “Can’t you see we are tired? We cannot perform.” The statement sparked jeers as parties attempted to throw bottles, stones, plastic chairs at him and commanded him to perform. He and Sheebah stubbornly refused leaving revelers with no choice but to take them on.
The door out of the bar was closed, at which point Pallaso and Sheebah were handed microphones and forced to perform. They sang all their songs back to back as parties danced the evening away. They later managed to get to their vehicle and drove away cursing and promising never to sign deals with village promoters.
We will keep you posted.
