Eddy Kenzo

African themed songs are in vogue. Music with traditional elements; sound and instrumentation are in vogue. This memo was drafted in DRC, passed down to South Africa then Nigeria as Uganda kept watching. At the moment Uganda, after a long walk with no distinctive sound, is playing catch up. Kenzo is such a fast learner flowing with the tides of the prevailing trends.

The song is rich in strong guitar instrumentation, highly paced drumbeats and that come off as a sound for the dancefloor.

Like most Kenzo songs, the song has random incoherent lyrics patched up here and there to make a vague impression of Pan Africanism. He struggles with English in this song as he tried to make a single that perhaps would act as a welcoming tune to the continent’s first time visitors. Its lackluster performance but like most Kenzo’s music, the video will be an ultimate that shoot up its rankings. Its better to wait for the video than the audio.

Listen to the song below.
