The ‘Best of Radio and Weasel’ concert almost turned into their worst after Mowzey Radio used it as a platform to abuse his rivals. The concert that had earlier started well with performances from several artistes such as Lydia Jazmine, Red Banton, Aziz Azion, Mun G, Irene Ntale, Ragga Dee, Bobi Wine and Jose Chameleone was later spoilt by the man of the day himself.
As the duo was singing their Nkwetaaga song, Radio halted the performance and started insulting renowned promoter Balaam.
“Some two individuals, Balaam and MP Katooto wanted to sabotage the show, they claim they are from Northern Uganda yet we know them very well. I know you are a rich man but you always use broke people like me to make money and yesterday you made me pay a lot of money. You are an idiot, give me light such that these idiots look at how successful our show is,” Radio said.
His singing partner Weasel seemed shocked by Radio’s words as he kept quiet looking at him in disbelief.
It is said that Balaam arrested their financial manager Lawrence Labeja after he received shs 7M on behalf of Radio and Weasel to perform in Gulu on a concert that was presided over by President Museveni as the Chief Guest but the duo never showed up.
However Labeja was released one day to the concert after the duo paid back the money something that pissed the Neera singer and decided to use this platform to hit back at him.
