Miss Tourism Uganda finalists were unveiled at IUEA auditorium on Sunday.
Beauties hailing from 12 regions (Ankole, Buganda, Kigezi, Tooro, Karamoja, Bunyoro, Teso, Busoga, West Nile, Northern , Bugisu and Rwenzori) around the country were unveiled with each region being represented by three contestants, bringing the number total finalists to 36.
The event started at around 8pm and the girls were unveiled to the audience. One by one, they introduced themselves as the audience cheered on. The unveiling ceremony was graced by the state Minister of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, Kiwanda Suubi as the guest of honor.
The beauties will now go for a two-week national boot-camp before the overall winner is crowned on 30th September at Serena Hotel.
