Meek Mill is not done. After his epic Twitter rant, the Philly rapper had more to say about Drake when he appeared on stage at a concert last night.
During Nicki Minaj’s “Pinkprint Tour” in Bristow, Va. on Wednesday (July 22), the Philly rapper shouted out Drake, but didn’t back off his claim that the Canadian MC had a ghostwriter pen his verse on “R.I.C.O.”
“I was just upset as a fan,” Meek told the crowd, adding, “Shout out to Drake. Let him be great at all the motherf**kin’ things he great at. But I’m gon’ still be the realest ni**a in this bitch.”
However, his Twitter tirade didn’t seem to sit well with his girlfriend because Meek issued a public apology to her for causing all the drama. “I wanna give a special apology shout-out to Nicki Minaj for my crazy a** going crazy on Twitter,” said Meek as he stroked her hair. “You can’t be messin’ with no hood ni**a.”
Since the accusations, the alleged ghostwriter, Quentin Miller, leaked a reference track for Drake’s “10 Bands” via Funkmaster Flex.
Drake’s producer Noah “40” Shebib has come to his defense, tweeting, “You’re smokin that sh*t you say you selling if you think someone wrote that sh*t.”
