Impunity at its extreme and an act of cowardice are some of the terms to paint a rather disheartening picture of events transpiring in Kenya at the Westgate mall. With death tolls rising to 69 by time of writing and several people injured, the Al Shabab can only be ashamed of robbing lives of many innocent people and again casting the evils of the Islamist extremists in the spotlight.
The mood is somber in Kenya as condolences fly in for the many lives lost and as many hostages stare death in the face but the one thing we can do is indulge in prayer. Prayer is the one tool that can unlock many doors and can mediate the most difficult situations.

Whether you are a Kenyan or not, the virtue of compassion and sympathy should be able to drive you to spare a prayer for the many families affected. With unity and prayer, it will only be a matter of time before The Lord intervenes and the Alshabab will be begging for mercy.
Otherwise, The BigEye family sends heartfelt condolences to the families of the lives lost.
