Ugandan singer Dr. Jose Chameleone is a wanted man in Kenya. The singer who is said to have been paid 28 million shillings for shows in Kenya is now being sued for 250 million which promoters want paid back as soon as possible.
News on our desk indicates that the singer was hired to perform in Kenya at three Christmas shows. He took 28 million for the shows and later asked for 14 million shillings during the last minute preparations saying that his manager had undervalued the deal. The amount was duly accorded to him. “He never showed up at any of the shows organized by Afrika Mashariki festival,” the sources revealed.
Sources further reveal that Chameleone had agreed to go for the shows immediately after his One Man, One Million concert that took place at Serena Hotel. Instead, the badilisha singer went for city parties that were taking place at the time. He went to Zari’s all white party and later Sue Ochola’s Arab money party.
The singer has been served with an intention to sue by the promoters lawyers Muwema and company advocates. Kenyan fans are demanding for his head and want him dead. Whether he will apologize to them or not, remains to be seen.
