Famous comedian, Kato Lubwama and music critic shocked afro-beat and Kandogokamu singer, Bobi Wine, when he told him off to his face that he doesn’t know how to sing. “Tomanyi kuyimba, nne Nubian Lee akusinga” to literally mean; “Bobi Wine You don’t know how to sing, even Nubian Lee is better.”
While commenting on the show, Robert Sebunya, one of the top tech bloggers had this to say;
“The only cloying thing about Kato Lubwama stops in advertisements and on stage but give him a mic and he will lose his head over anything or anyone with a divergent view.
Clearly Bobi Wine had coagulated points but Kato Lubwama is a little very egoistic and clearly cogitates that his view on Uganda’s music industry is the metric on which the art of music in Uganda should be adjudicated. Well, as I respect his view and am not a Bobi Wine fan, but clearly Bobi Wine’s arguments today on the Kasuku Live Talk and Talk show 9am-11am every Saturday on Dembe fm 90.4 were solid and required sober panelists and not those with ill-conceived notions negating every single point that Bobi Wine mentions with loud talk and uncalled for interruptions.
Otherwise Kato style of debate(especially when he gets hot headed) will always affect other panelists negatively. Kuku Wazabanga Batt Badru Very great show though today I wish you could add a live Youtube stream or Google Hangout for the next live show otherwise the live stream was really good today on Dembefm.ug.”
We await for the next musician in the frying pan…
