Singer Kalifah Aganaga who was travelling from Koboko yesterday narrowly escaped death after the vehicle he was traveling in was involved in a fatal accident. He shares about the ordeal. Read about his near-death experience below.
We had two Holiday makers’ bashes at Koboko Club Delavie on Saturday and Sunday Alanos Gardens respectively that were a great success. On our way back aboard Gaga Bus as our Driver tried to overtake two buses that were also heading towards Kampala in Nakasongola, he confronted another bus one travelers that was heading towards the North with little help our Bus was brushed by the other prompting it to sway off road into a trench our bus landed on the driver’s side.
The official Police report states 8 people dead and 30 injured including my Team, Manager, Dj and two dancers. I was stuck in the wreckage for over 30 minutes but as Good luck has it a bunch of my fans especially Boda Boda riders with a help of an AXE rescued me, we were then rushed to Nakasongola hospital where we received first aid in terms of tetanus injections, from there we hired a special vehicle to Nsambya Hospital for further treatment which included scanning to make sure we had no internal bleeding and dressing of the injuries sustained.
Words can’t explain this incident but it made me believe that God works in mysterious ways because two of my neighbors’ perished in the accident. As of now we are all fine.
I would like to thank Allah, my Team, Nsambya Hospital, Nakasongola Hospital, Friends, Family, Fans and media partners who showed care Thank You!
