Uganda’s gospel queen, Judith Babirye has got a new calling―to lead her people come 2016 parliamentary elections.
We have confirmed that the gospel artiste is already canvassing for votes; setting up several community projects in the villages of Buikwe, a move aimed at dampening the relevance of current MP Dorah Mpiima.
It has been revealed that she has set up a youth football tournament named Babirye Cup where hefty prizes await winning teams.
She is also involved in garbage collection, visiting youth groups and helping various women groups in the villages.
