Singer Chameleone has been been nominated as the ambassador of Busoga Tourism. He was this morning called to a board meeting with speaker Rebecca Kadaga where they discussed issues pertaining tourism in Busoga.
In a post on Facebook the Badilisha singer broke the news with excitement. He posted, “It’s evidential that music is a global language and is also a tool that is relevant to today’s society unlike the past where Musicians were not respected in sects of development. Today’s morning was a a fruitful one as I was at the Parliament of Uganda in a board meeting with Hon. Speaker of Parliament of Uganda, Hon.REBECCA KADAGA, Hon. Edward Baliddawa and the various honourables as they nominated me to be the esteemed AMBASSADOR of BUSOGA TOURISM!!!!!”
The singer went ahead to invite the speaker of Parliament to his show due Friday 29th March 2014 at Cricket Oval Lugogo. “Was great feeling as I also invited her for the East African concert 3days away and she acknowledged my invite!” he concluded.
Congrats to Chameleone.
