Just one day to the MTV awards ceremony, recent statistics show that Jose Chameleone could win the prestigious accolade.
Chameleone, who was nominated in the MTV MAMA Evolutionary category alongside other equally talented African singers, is in the lead for the award. As per yesterday, Chameleone was leading with over 80,000 votes on Instagram only, and followed by Dbanj with 46523 votes.
The “Wale Wale” star who left the country for the big event taking place in Durban, South Africa on Saturday, is pitted against several top artistes on the continent like 2Face (Nigeria), Anselmo Ralph (Angola), Asa (Nigeria), Black Coffee (South Africa), D’Banj (Nigeria), Fally Ipupa (DRC), HHP (South Africa), P-Square (Nigeria) and Samini (Ghana).
