Iryn Namubiru is back in Japan where she was arrested in 2013 for drug trafficking. The singer who was put in jail for drug trafficking was allegedly set up by his former promoter Kim Tumwesigye aka Ueno is in the country to end her drug trafficking case.

According to our sources, Iryn will testify against Tumwesigye who purportedly caused her arrest in 2013 when he asked her to take some things for him only to be discovered as drugs by Airport authorities.

“He ruined my life, I cannot feel any remorse for that guy, I want to see him facing the full extent of the law so that he can rot in prison,” Iryn said about the fellow Ugandan. “Whatever the verdict, I just want to see justice prevailing.”

Iryn Namubiru was arrested for days in Japan before she was saved by a lawyer in Tokyo who proved that she was innocent. Drug trafficking penalties are severe and may include death. Iryn was lucky to be acquitted.

We shall keep you posted.
